EU importers of China-origin electronic toys, EU distributors and retailers of electronic plush toys and soft toys, EU sellers of dance mats and musical toy mats, online marketplace sellers listing unbranded electronic toys into the EU, and Tuosiqui must immediately check stock and online listings against the ten alerted products and obtain supplier RoHS test reports for lead and cadmium in solders, plus technical files and declarations of conformity under Directive 2011/65/EU, or non-compliant products are withdrawn from the EU market, as ordered in all ten alerts, and placing them on the market breaches Directive 2011/65/EU.

The pattern

All ten danger texts locate the breach in the solders, not in a chemical toy substance. Lead is named in nine texts, at measured values from 34.5% to 84.2% by weight. Cadmium is named in seven texts, at measured values from 0.17% to 0.56% by weight. One of those seven is cadmium only, at a measured value up to 0.23% by weight, and that text does not name lead. Each text states that the product does not comply with the RoHS 2 Directive.

Nine of the ten products originate in the People's Republic of China. One dance mat has an unknown origin. Sweden is the only notifying country. Nine alerts are unbranded. Tuosiqui is the only named brand, on the push-game toy alert of October 2, 2026. The official plush-toy notice of October 9, 2026 records an AliExpress listing removal. The shared root the notices support is lead and cadmium in the solder of distinct electronic toys.

Who is exposed

Exposure follows who places these electronic toys on the EU market, not who notified the alerts. That is EU importers of China-origin electronic toys, distributors and retailers of electronic plush toys and soft toys, sellers of dance mats and musical toy mats, and online marketplace sellers listing unbranded electronic toys into the EU. Tuosiqui is named on one alert and is in the same check. Sweden, as notifying authority, is not the exposed actor.
